Spaceship Earth will relaunch Feb, 18, 2008. Presented by Siemens. Spaceship Earth went into rehab May 2007. On Dec. 24, 2007, the barricades came down to give a sneak preview of most of the changes.

There are 4 four new scenes, new set decorations, new costumes, and new special effects. Including the re-themed interactive post-show.

~ Bruce Broughton, Emmy Award winning composer, has prepared a new musical score for Spaceship Earth. Leading a 63 piece orchestra and 24 member choir, the new soundtrack features music and instruments suitable for the time period in each section of the revamped attraction.

~ Dame Judy Dench, Academy Award winning actress, provides the new narration. Dame Judi Dench won an Oscar as best supporting actress in 1999 for her role in "Shakespeare in Love."

Some Spoilers Below donald

I got to ride the new spaceship earth on my last trip and I have to admit with all the negative feedback I was hearing about it I was not sure what to expect. Well after experiencing the ride first hand I really enjoyed it. Like everyone says the first half of the ride is really great. Love the new additions and the new audio I think is nice. As for the part of the attraction where you return to earth and you use the interactive touch screens I think it pretty fun. Not sure why most don't like this part. I think it is fun answering the series of questions and then seeing what kind of future I may have in store. At the start of the attraction they take your picture and then use it at the end when they show you what your future is going to be. Your picture is actually in it. I loved it. Ask any questions you have.
