| Subject: Caribbean Beach (w/out main pool) or Coronado?? Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:49 pm | |
| | We are going to Disney 3/15. We are a family of 4 ( kids ages 5 & 6). iWere supposed to stay at the Caribbean Beach but were told the main pool is closed. The only other choice in moderate is Coronado Springs. Should we change the reservations?? |

| We're glad you joined us.
Do you know where in the resort you will be staying?
If you really prefer Caribbean Beach, you can use the six leisure pools located throughout the resort. They have added waterslides for children at the Barbados and Jamaica village pools and enhanced children's recreation activities will be offered.
With such small children you don't want to be going too far from your room to go swimming. If your room is near the main pool. I would definately change to Coronado Springs. _________________ Disney Travel Specialist. Click Here to recieve a quote!

| | Thank you. Yes, we have a request for the Cabanas around 8A--heard this is convenient for the pool and bus. If not there, then somewhere close in the Rancho section. Of course, nothing is guaranteed. I've read a bunch of reviews and it seems to be a very nice place so I'm not going to get too upset. Unfortunately our travel agent didn't realize about the Caribbean pool back in November (when we could have had our choice of hotels!) Who knows, we'll probably like the Corranado better. |

| Both resorts are really great. Not sure if theme and location are what you make your plans on. This may also help you decide.
Caribbean Resort is located in the Epcot area. Coronado is located in the Disney's Animal Kingdom Park area. _________________ Disney Travel Specialist. Click Here to recieve a quote!

| | I have only stayed at Caribbean Beach resort, but I have visited Coronado. I really liked the looks of Coronado, except I don't know if I would be a big fan of the food court there. I resent places charging an automatic gratuity for service; I think that should be my place to decide how much to tip. The Caribbean Beach Resort is great as well, but depending on what building you are in, you could have quite a trek to get to Old Port Royale. |
