Attendance was up quite a bit last year at the theme parks. Of course that's great news for Disney, but is it great news for visitors? I've read on various sites that there really aren't any 'slow' times anymore when you can go and have a very relaxed day in the parks. Is this the case? Are the busy times getting too busy? Could it get to the point where WDW will become too successful (where people start to say "WDW was great, but it was so crowded with long ride lines, let's go somewhere else next year")? _________________

| I personally think the Year of a Million Dreams had a lot to do with it. The fact that people were offered free gifts for just being at WDW or DLR Parks. There may have been a lot of local people going more often. Which is probable why the discounts last year and this year - so far - are not as good as 2006... _________________ Disney Travel Specialist. Click Here to recieve a quote!

| | It will be intesresting to see if this contiues. I personally hope it does. The busier the parks the more the parks are going to need to invest to keep the product fresh and to keep the guest coming back. |

| | I know I have been at times, granted they are during the summer so it is pretty busy already, where the parks were so crowded, you couldn't even walk through them when getting near some of the more popular areas. I remember having to backtrack through Fantasyland one day because there was a traffic jam of people! |

| I'm not so sure about that...i.e. California Adventure.
It seems like the parks only really invest when they think there's a storm approachin' - not when the sky is blue.
It drives me nuts when you can't walk from one end of the park to another. It's strange that in the years preceding 2001 the parks weren't as busy as now.
With the economy tanking, I think we'll see a decrease in US guests and Disney hoarding their bread.
